Luísa Mesquita
Double bass, guitar
Nasceu em Coimbra em 1981 e iniciou os seus estudos musicais aos cinco anos. Frequentou o Conservatório de Música de Coimbra nas classes de Piano e Guitarra. Mais tarde, depois de concluída a Licenciatura em Ciências do Desporto e Educação Física na Universidade de Coimbra, regressou aos estudos musicais, ingressando, como segundo instrumento, na classe de Contrabaixo. Integrou a Orquestra Principal da Associação dos Antigos Tunos da Universidade de Coimbra e acompanha Alma de Coimbra desde 2008. É atualmente docente no ensino Básico e Secundário e Professora Auxiliar Convidada na Faculdade de Ciências do Desporto da Universidade de Coimbra. Tem como áreas de interesse a promoção da atividade física e um estilo de vida saudável, o envelhecimento ativo e a formação inicial de professores de Educação Física.

She was born in 1991 in Póvoa de Varzim. Joined the Academia de Música de S. Pio X de Vila do Conde in the piano class of Professor Nuno Oliveira, where she completed the 8th grade. She participated as a performer in several masterclasses under the guidance of António Rosado, Miguel Borges Coelho, Jorge Moyano, among others. She was part of the premiere of the "Sinfonia nº5" of António Victorino de Almeida, playing the piano as a member of the Orquestra Filarmonia das Beiras. She has given several recitals with baritone Luís Rendas Pereira in places like the Pavilhão Centro de Portugal (Coimbra), Prieuré Le Mesnil Saint Martin (Montaut de Villeréal - France), among others. In the academic year 2012/2013 she completed the Degree in Piano at the University of Aveiro in the class of Professor Fausto Neves, and the Master in Music Teaching (piano specialization area), in 2014/2015. She teaches Piano, Accompaniment and Improvisation and Keyboard Instrument at the Paços de Brandão Music Academy.
Joana Borges
Violin
Licenciada em Música com especialização em violino. Durante o seu percurso teve o privilégio de ter um acompanhamento pedagógico com Daniel Rowland, Roberto Valdés e Max Rabinovitsj. Iniciou a sua atividade docente no Conservatório Regional de Música de Vila Real, continuou o seu percurso na Academia de Artes de Chaves e integrou a equipa de professores do Projeto Orquestra Geração na Escola Profissional de Arte de Mirandela. Instrumentista convidada da Orquestra Filarmonia das Beiras, Orquestra Clássica de Espinho e Orquestra da Universidade do Minho. Frequenta o Mestrado em Ensino de Música na Universidade de Aveiro e o Mestrado em Psicologia do Desporto e Desenvolvimento Humano da Universidade do Porto. Atualmente dedica-se a dois projetos de investigação centrados na área da psicologia da performance, interligando a música e o desporto com o objetivo de proporcionar uma visão mais abrangente e completa do ensino dos instrumentistas de música.
Ana Sadio
Guitarra de Coimbra
She began her musical studies in Vila Nova de Foz Côa at the age of 8, with the accordion as her main instrument. At the age of 16, she began to learn Portuguese guitar in a self-taught way. After entering the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Coimbra, she took Portuguese guitar lessons, the Coimbra variant, at the Fado Section of the Academic Association with Professor Jorge Gomes. During her studies, she joined the Coimbra Folklore Group, where she came into contact with the popular roots of Coimbra music, taking part in various tours. Alongside her professional activity, she returned to her musical studies at the Viseu and Guarda Conservatories of Music, in the accordion class. She was a member of the Ensemble Musical Pro Musica and collaborated with the Casa da Música Choir, taking part in various symphonic choral concerts. She is currently a member of the Experimental Choir of the Association of Former Orpheonists of the University of Porto and takes Portuguese guitar lessons with Professor Pedro Pinto. In addition to the instrument's traditional repertoire, she tries to diversify it by adapting various themes from the classical and popular repertoire.

Born in Coimbra in 1981, she began her musical studies at the age of five. She attended the Conservatório de Música de Coimbra in the Piano and Guitar classes. Later, after completing her degree in Sports Science and Physical Education at the University of Coimbra, she returned to her musical studies, joining, as a second instrument, the double bass class. She is currently a teacher in Primary and Secondary Education and an Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sports Science of the University of Coimbra. Her areas of interest are the promotion of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, active aging and the initial training of physical education teachers.

Graduated in Music with a specialization in violin. During her career she had the privilege of having pedagogical accompaniment with Daniel Rowland, Roberto Valdés and Max Rabinovitsj. She began her teaching career at the Conservatório Regional de Música de Vila Real, continued her career at the Academia de Artes de Chaves and integrated the team of teachers of the Orquestra Geração Project at the Escola Profissional de Arte de Mirandela. She is a guest instrumentalist of Orquestra Filarmonia das Beiras, Orquestra Clássica de Espinho and Orquestra da Universidade do Minho. She is attending the Master in Music Teaching at the University of Aveiro and the Master in Psychology of Sport and Human Development at the University of Porto. Currently he is dedicated to two research projects focused on the area of performance psychology, linking music and sport with the aim of providing a more comprehensive and complete view of the teaching of music instrumentalists.
